My Scherer Magazine extension works flawlessly. It also provides an additional two rounds to my original ten round magazine. Twelve rounds plus one in the chamber isn''t too shabby for 45 ammo. The Scherer magazine is professionally made and its locking system will NEVER fail you.

This extension has a gap between the bottom of the grip and where the extender starts. Feels a little funny holding the gun but it worked fine.
