Easy to swap out with the OEM. Used on my Glock 21. Increases the overall profile of the weapon only slightly and will allow you much faster and accurate reloads than the stock part.

I own both Glock 27 and 23 models of, which my Wife and I shoot.
This component made an extreme difference in her ability to release the slide, as the stock slide release was of such a low profile.

The Extended Slide Release installed easily. It is on my Glock 30 (.45ACP) and works great. I find the .45 Glocks have a wider slide and an extended slide release works well to give you more metal to grab with your thumb. Also, the slide release does not catch on a Fobus holster. Great product!

In my opinion this is the first (and possibly only) modification that needs to be made to a Glock. Being an original Glock manufactured part I can''t understand why it''s not standard on all Glocks and the current original release isn''t offered as an option for those that, for whatever reason, would want it. Top Glock shipped my complete order the next day (Monday) and provided valid tracking information. It arrived via 1st class mail that Thursday.

As the description implys, the aftermarket Glock slide release IS designed to give you the leverage you need to operate the slide easier and more efficiently. The original slide release that comes on all Glocks works, however by design it is a slim fit for the pistol. With a slight "shelf" that the aftermarket slide release has, it enables you to release the slide with a lot less effort.

I ordered the extended slide release for my G23 and G27. Installed both in just minutes and they look,fit and work great. Makes release of slide after magazine change quick and much easier. The release does not change the way the weapon fits in the holster or effect the draw or replacing of the weapon in the holster. I would recommend this replacement to all Glock shooters.

Very happy with this purchase, FYI for new Glocks the pin needed to be removed can be very hard to remove. Had mine done at a local armour for $6. There are plenty of vids on youtube on how to do this and can be done in minutes. Best price and SUPER QUICK shipping. Ordered on Saturday and arrived on Tuesday. Deffinatley a return customer now.

I really like the extended slide release. I haven''''t had any issues with it interfering with clothing or holsters because it doesn''''t stick out very far. But it definitely sticks out far enough to help release the slide with your thumb.
It took only a couple of minutes to install- very easy. I highly recommend it.

Shipped in a very timely fashion. The product was as described and super easy to install once I found something to push out the retaining pin. I had been pressing down on the slide lock release so when a mag would run empty the slide would not lock back. This makes it much easier to feel where the release is and much easier to release the slide -really should be standard on all Glocks! Thanks for the good business.

This thing was a piece of cake to install with no prior gunsmith training and it works perfectly! The only thing I could ask would be to make it a little longer. I bought it for my wife and she has tiny hands, and we are headed to Frontsight where some of the drills will prevent her from changing her grip on the gun to release the slide. Other than that the product was exactly as described and worked perfectly, and it took me 5 minutes to install.

This works great. The slide release was the only complaint I''ve had with my Glock 19. This fixed the problem beautifully. You have no idea how much difference this makes. On a 19, you need to take the pin above the trigger pin out first, then press down on the outside of the lever and pull up on the tab on the inside in order to get the trigger pin out. Otherwise the trigger pin will be stuck because the circle end of the slide release will be caught in a groove on the trigger pin.

I wanted an easier-to-use release, but had two concerns: 1) I didn''t something that would stick out too far and make my Glock 17 look odd, and 2) I was hesitant to disassemble my new gun. Well, this fits in perfectly with the gun and only sticks out a few millimeters and makes locking the slide back much easier. And taking down the Glock is super easy. Five stars both for usefulness and ease of installation.

I am left-handed and have to manipulate the normal slide release with my trigger finger, and I can''t seem to do it with any reliability. The bump on this extended release is easy to feel and push the release up when trying to lock the slide open, and when trying to push down to close the slide. This is a life saver and a must have "mod" if you have small hands like myself, very easy to install, all you need is a glock dissasembly tool or a "punch" the same size as the pin holes. I now do not need to cant my weapon towards the left to reach the slide stop during tactical reloads, I can keep my weapon towards the target at all times now as I change mags and release the slide. shipping is great.. 3 days at my door.

I believe in racking/releasing the slide to chamber the next round with my non-firing hand after reloading, if for no other reason than to build the habit in case of a jam during a defensive gunfight. However, I do like options. If I need to crawl to my Glock 26 and load-fire-reduce stoppage with only my weak hand, I believe this extended slide release might help me. This is a good product.

Easy to instal and a great addition to ANY Glock model. This is a must for practicing mag changes with retention. It gives great leverage with a minimalistic size, therefore it will not affect concealability. Even when carrying IWB. A must second to the extended mag release.

The Stock Slide Release is one of the biggest pitfalls in my eyes of the Glock. This is one of the best solutions. This modification made it so much easier to lock the slide and release it. Installed this on my Glock 20C notice the difference instantly and it does not feel as cheap as the original part does! Be sure you have a punch tool to get the pins out; if not order the Glock Factory Part, Disassembly Tool.

I installed this in about 2 min. You have to knock the top pin out first (little tip). The stock slide catch was my only complaint about my Glock and now it truly is "perfection". I got this for my glock 21C duty weapon. It fit the .45 exactly the same as the 9mm. I love it. On the wider frame of the .45 it really does help you to catch the release the first time, every time. The extended slide release is a small part that made a huge difference. I can now reload and send the slide forward while keeping the weapon on target. I have the extended slide release on all of my Glocks ]19, 26, 27, 30[. It is ithe small little difference that makes all the difference. During the quick installation, I use a big roll of packing/shipping tape to lay the gun on when tapping-out the support pin.

Works great for my purposes. This lever is much easier to use than the standard OE lever, but is still low profile and snag free for concealed carry. The release is actually moved rearwards to allow greater leverage to release the slide easier while not making the lever too bulky. It dropped right in my G30SF, and looks like it came from the factory that way. All my Glocks have one installed now.
