Way to much movement in front sight. I measured .035" left to right. Taped hole for hold down screw was not parallel with vertical access of front sight causing hold down screw to make contact with only one side of screw head. This allows front sight to tilt as well as move left to right. I tried to remove front sight and screw twisted off but was not surprised because gun shop used locktight on threads. Perhaps Trueglo should rethink their design and consider staking the front sight as the factory does. Staking would not allow any movement in the front sight.

nothing as bright in the day or nite... just don''t dip a hot 10 MM into a cooler of water; it will zap the life out of your truglow sights...

The front sight on this system is too large and ill fitting. No matter what I did it would not fit tight. It moved and wiggled around and if used, would require some sort of additional apoxy or spot weld to stay tight. I returned it and will go with another brand.

Visibility is great in the daylight and in the dark. At night, the three dots on my nightstand are easy to find and I always know where my gun is and where it''s pointing. In sunlight, the fiber optics in these sights glow very bright. Indoors, the sights are still easily identifiable, and I have noticed my sighting time improve since installing these TruGlo TFO''s. I recommend that you find a competent gunsmith to install these sights, as a proper installation requires that the rear sight be filed down by an angled file for a secure fit. Though more expensive than some other brands, I really think that TruGlo TFO''s are the best on the market for their versatility and quality.

I have three sets of tfo sights one set when on perfectly, the other two needed slight fileing of the radius of the front sight base and some off the bottom,then a little blue loctite good to go.Each gun has over three thousand rds fired, sights are tight and still centered.Also have three sets of truglo night sights both front sights needed some epoxy to get a tight fit also have three thousand or more rds no problems.I put the third set on a g36 they fit good, the head of the screw needed to be ground slightly for barrel clearance not much room in the slimline slide,about six hundard rds fired,still tight. As the others have said not allways a perfict fit. Im sure truglo wants them to be right,maybe Q.C.was at lunch,im satisfied with there products also bright and easy to see.
